The item I received did not peel hard boiled eggs. I normally read the customer reviews before I make a purchase, but apparently I forgot this time.

It works good as long as you keep it clean
Does not include instructions and takes a LONG time to get the hang of it. Definitely needs water to work right but there is no place for either the water nor the shells to fall and drain in to. So it makes quite a mess unless you do it in the sink and it doesn’t fit side-to-side in a standard size double sink.
On the other hand it peeled about 10 dozen eggs in less than 20 minutes and only destroyed about 1/3 of them - most at the beginning as we figure it out. Definitely a time saver if you’re doing a large number of eggs.
