Great product! It proves you really can build a better mouse trap! We eat soft boiled eggs regularly and we break the pretty porcelain ones frequently. The wide base of the stainless steel holder make this product very stable and the removable soft gel-like liners hold the egg in a solid grip. Both are very easy to clean. The egg topper was a mystery to me. I didn't know how it worked. Finally I realized the white handle was spring loaded. Just hold the topper on top of the egg with one hand and pull and release the handle with the other. The hammering effect produces a clean break around the egg. The bell end of the topper has a tiny lip that grips the top of the egg. When you remove the topper it will either remove just the shell or the whole top of the egg. It's amazingly effective.
I am still getting used to the egg cracker. I have not been successful yet. I believe that is due to my use of Jumbo eggs which vary quite a bit in shape and size and also due to my lack of experience. But other than that - I am happy with the set. The silicone liners in the stainless steel cups work great. When the set arrived, I had 14 eggs in the frig. I tried all 14 in the cup. All but one fix in the cup without wobbling. That one egg was long and pointy. The narrow end wobbled so I flipped it over and put the wider end in the cup and it was solid. The cups and spoons are very attractive.
Best egg cups and topper I have ever used. The silicone inserts really hold eggs well. And the topper actually works! Makes a clean cut all the way around, just be sure to pull it up all the way, I was nervous eat first and only did it halfway thinking all the way would shatter the whole egg.
I bought this set for my 89 year old mother who loves soft cooked eggs but was tired of eating shells with every bite. Her hands can be shaky so we weren’t sure anything would work but we took a chance on the Epare Egg Cracker and are so glad we did. She mastered this herself the first time. She finds it very easy to use and to clean. Today she’s invited me over to join her in eating a perfectly prepared soft boiled egg. Look no further and prepare to be amazed. This is a winner.
Underwhelmed, bought it because it looked beautiful on the picture and had good reviews. It looks dull and unattractive in real life, not all eggs fit well in the cups. They charge third of what I’ve paid for it to return it. Not the best product and not the best customer service. Wouldn’t buy from them again.

Great quality. Works great. Not really instructions, but really it does not need them. The shell cutter has a pretty strong spring, so I was hesitant to trust it. Just pull it all the way back. It makes a perfect score. The spoons are very good quality, shell score and holders are all excellent. Fast shipping. I would definitely recommend the product.
dinosaur eggs? I would love everything about this set if I could only find dinosaur eggs in a supermarket. These cups are clearly made for eggs from dinosaurs. If Only They were the size of a normal jumbo egg then I would be very happy and realize if I got small eggs if that's on me but this makes jumbo eggs swim like there's no tomorrow it will not hold them up they fall over because it's made for monster eggs.
I see reviewers say you must “learn” to use it properly. I see that as a design flaw. Who would buy a can opener which works only once you have learned to manipulate the can just right in order to open it up. I’m not saying some out there don’t mind the challenge, but for me, I don’t want to wonder if it’s going to score or crack the egg (which then requires the tedious task of trying to scoop out the soft boiled egg without the tiny fragments of shell)
Bought this item for my husband as a silly Christmas gift as we were having boiled eggs on Christmas morning. We proceeded to try to use the tool to remove the top which failed completely however we tried in one case the egg was crushed and splatted all over the table not what I had anticipated. So this item is an epic fail!!!
It’s a very good buy. No hassle is peeling eggs anymore. I struggled a bit of how to use. Thanks to a post which mentioned you have to pull the string and leave a couple of times
