This really works.
So far the best one I have found.
PROS:
1) Consistent Small even pieces of garlic.
2)Easy to use
3)Easy to Clean
4)Love the green garlic peeler that comes with it ( it really works!)
CONS:
1) It can be a little big bigger.
I like garlic very much, so I use the garlic press every day. It works very well, is easy to use and clean.
Compared with the garlic press I used before, it is more labor-saving and comfortable.
When I first used it, I was in trouble because I could only crush the garlic and not press it into individual particles. I saw that the design of the bottom of the garlic press was curved, so I tried to crush the garlic back and forth, then I succeeded, I made a hearty dinner, and my family enjoyed it very much.
Very sturdy and well-designed garlic press. The handle is solid and the metal used isn't cheap and presses well. The enclosed small knife scraper and garlic roller are very useful. It was extremely easy to clean 3 cloves and then press for fresh garlic instead of the old jarred stuff from a box store. Nothing is better than using it fresh for your marinades or cooking.
Update the other metal plate fell off and U finally used it and it does work great! Prefer my old garlic crusher. This is Garbage!
Just received this and immediately thought it felt really well made. I washed it by hand and put it in my rack to dry when I went to put it away I notice one side has a glib if sticky stuff in it after trying to figure it out notice the metal plate that’s on each side had gallon off from that side. It’s now not staying on. I guess I have to now find a glue to see if I can get it to stay on.
I like the design of this gadget, but it doesn't seem very sharp. I have to push really HARD to get the garlic clove to go through the little holes. I bought this thinking it would be easier/quicker than my traditional garlic press (the nutcraker style one), and it's convenient to be able to mince the garlic in one step right on the cutting board, but it feels like I have to work a lot harder at it this way. So, I like it, might still use it, but not totally loving it.

Peeling garlic is always tricky. This handy tool makes it very easy and then the garlic press is also very easy to use.

This is a good garlic press and my wife likes it. We ordered a look-a-like before this and returned it as it barely worked at all. If you are looking for a garlic press that is the be all, end all - this ain't it. It's okay and gives the crushed garlic outcome needed for cooking most things but it isn't the "OMG, where has this tool been all my life?" product that will change your culinary creations and put your cooking on par with Gordon Ramsay.
It is however a whole bunch better than the first one we ordered on Amazon for 3 dollars less and it is definitely worth the difference in price.
