This is the bomb! I've been craving eggs like crazy lately, this is the answer to my egg issues. And to think, I almost didn't buy it because some people were posting pictures of melted plastic on the heating element. I had an inkling of an idea that they were using the egg cooker incorrectly, and after receiving mine and reading the instructions, I verified it. I posted pictures of the instructions for an omelet, and poached eggs. If you read number seven and eight, you can clearly see where it states to put the poached egg tray, and/or the omelette tray, on top of the egg tray. Nowhere does it say to put the plastic directly on the metal heating element. Duh. What do you think will happen if you put plastic on a hot, metal plate? You wouldn't put anything plastic on your heating element on your stove, would you? Anyway, I digress. This cooked my eggs perfectly the very first time, right out of the box. The Amazon box was really damaged, through no fault of Amazon, so I was concerned that I would get a broken product. The packaging was first class, so the cooker was totally protected! I would post a picture of my perfectly cooked eggs, but I already ate them. So at this point, all I can suggest is that you order this, and in two days when it shows up, cook your own eggs! Nobody in my family knows this yet, but this is what everyone is getting for Christmas this year. Too bad grandma has that egg allergy....
I eat a lot of eggs because of my diet (weight watchers lol). So it’s nice to have an easy, quick, less messy/complicated way to make eggs. I use the poached egg one the most just because I love having somewhat runny eggs. I saw a lot of people reporting that the plastic melts... don’t listen to them they clearly didn’t read the instruction manual or can’t follow directions. You HAVE to put down the hard boiled egg thing down first THEN put the poached egg/omelette thing on top of that. Also a lot of people complained about “burning” on the metal part. Again, if they had red the instructions they would realize that it says to use distilled/bottled water instead of tap water to prevent that from happy. Honestly it surprises me how many people here aren’t troubleshooting before posting a review. The product is great and works perfectly, you just have to follow the instructions. It’s not that hard people. Anyways the one thing that’s kind of obnoxious about it is the buzzer when it’s finished. I get why it has to be loud but I’m a really jumpy person so Even though I’ve used this thing more times than I can count it still startled me when it goes off. I wish there was a feature where it started low then gradually got louder kind of like a tea kettle so it’s not so sudden for us jumpy people. Not a big deal but it would make me love this thing that much more. Also if you need to clean the metal part I suggest using warm water and white vinegar to remove stains or stuck on stuff. Since you can’t submerge the egg maker or remove the metal thing using soap isn’t something I do just because it’s hard to rinse without the chance of getting water in the egg maker. I hope my review cleared up a few things for people on the fence of getting this. My biggest suggestion is when you get it sit down and read ALL the instructions. You’ll have a better outcome and will make life a lot easier.
I've only used it once, right out of the box, but I love it! I've always been awful with boiling eggs and this is a wonderful cooker.. I don't use the stove much due to disability so this is perfect for countertop or a dorm and very safe. I made 5 eggs and filled water line up to 5 for hard boiled.. they were a bit underdone but I ate the first one and it was delicious and shell came off in 2 pieces! I let the others rest before opening and they were ready to make egg salad. I live at high altitude so mine might require longer cooking but I love this!
I got so sick and tired of cleaning egg off of pans that were supposedly "non stick" that I decided to order this and I am so glad I did. This is now one of my most favorite things in the kitchen. You set it up, walk away, it shuts off on it's own and you go over to it and it's like magic. It makes the best eggs. Not only that, today I made hard boiled eggs and the shell when being removed was in very large pieces and just slipped right off. When making two poached eggs, I placed two eggs in the egg poach dish and they turned out perfectly. There is a little plastic cup that comes with this and right on the cup it tells you how much water to put in for whatever type of egg you want to make. I even took "Powdered" eggs, and mixed it with water and stuck in the omelette dish and it turned out perfect. I am so impressed, I bought my mother one for Christmas. You can't go wrong. The cooking pieces are plastic and egg just cleans right off of it and you can even eat the eggs right out of the poached egg pan or the omelette dish. Also, the bottom of the cup allows you to poke a hole in the egg to make hard boiled eggs to prevent cracking but I didn't even use it and only one of the hard boiled eggs had a crack but this allowed me to just remove the shell with ease. And, think of the health issues here, you don't have to use any butter or oil or anything - cooks a healthy egg. Today, I started the day with poached eggs. Then for lunch, I made some hardboiled eggs and took one of the eggs and made an egg salad sandwich. Now instead of buying a dozen eggs, I'm purchasing a package of 18 eggs because this IS A HIT!
Works great for hard boiled eggs but not so well for omelettes. I think you'd need to add more water to finish the cooking. If I were a cat I would have lost a life when that finish buzzer went off. It sounds like a very angry demented bird and won't shut off until you do it.

I use this for boiling eggs all the time. It used to be so messy for me to boil the eggs in water and later it was also so hard to remove the shell. I don't know what's the science behind, but removing shells after boiling this machine is so easy. I've been using this for 2 months now and I have no disappointments, it's quick, uses less water and makes great eggs.
As an egg lover I am so enamoured with this little device! The ability to easily put eggs in, press a button, and walk away knowing the eggs will be cooked just the way I like them is just fantastic. I was worried that the buzzer would be super loud like in the reviews of some of the other egg cookers but it's quite quiet which is perfect for me in the early mornings or late nights! The device looks great and has now earned a permanent residence on the countertop, although it is very compact and everything stores into it quite easily. You will want to read the instruction booklet because a lot of the issues the other reviewers could've been easily resolved by doing so. All in all this was one of my favourite purchases this year!
The cooking's good! (Only tried the hard eggs)

There's a problem with the system and it's that the power button don't want to shutdown. It always stay on even if I press the on/off button. Is it normal? I don't think so. On the long run, could it ruins the system? Clearly, there's a problem with the system.

Thank you for answering me. Have a good day!
Love the convenience of how this product quickly and perfectly cooks eggs, however, the buzzer noise when the cooking cycle is complete is intolerable. It is a horrible extremely loud hazard alarm buzz and it does not shut off by itself.
