It's a pizza peel, nothing hard to imagine. Now the handle is detachable using screw-like threading. However that threading is so thin and delicate, it is hard to screw together without the worry that you will damage it.
I like the long handle! It is light weight but sturdy and big enough for a medium to large pizza.

This is a Christmas gift for my son. So it has not been used yet. Seems to be good quality. But I guess I was thinking it would be a bit heavier duty. I think he will love it.
