I like this food tool. It works well on SPAM giving me nice even pieces. I used it for dicing SPAM to put in my Ramen by taking the slices and cutting them a couple of more times. I'll probably use it to make more diced SPAM for breakfast burritos. I would recommend some patience in using it since it is wires cutting the product, and wires can break. It sure beats my usual crooked cuts of canned luncheon meat.
This is my second purchase of the spam cutter. My husband is from Hawaii and he likes to frequently eat spam as well as my Sons. This is a simple way to cut the sperm evenly and fry it or do whatever you like with it. It is easy to clean but may take some caution with the cutters because they are not super sturdy. It is similar to Hard boiled egg cutter. I would say this product is worth it and for the money worth it and it was packaged really well. Enjoy your spam.
Have been eating an old favorite of mine, Spam. And found slicing it would make for some different thicknesses. Saw this item and for the price I got it and am glad I did. The slices are uniform and easy to use. There is some sliding as you press down, but not too much of a problem once you get used to it. I have even been able to cube and shorstring the meat for different things. Use the top rack in dishwasher and have not had any problems with rust as this is stainless steel, the base is plastic. Also good for hard boiled eggs and softer cheeses. Not too good with harder cold cuts or harder cheeses.
My husband loves to eat spam, but I never am able to cute the slices the same. This makes my job much faster and cuts the spam more evenly. I absolutely love and highly recommend for anyone who wants an easy way to slice your spam.
I like this slicer. It's so simple to use a caveman can do it. (Sorry.) It's been doing a great job. The only thing I wish they'd change is the width, it needs another 1 or 2 inches so a hot dog will fit without needing to be cut in half, a minor problem and certainly no reason to not buy this unit. Try it, you'll like it ... or something like that.

I wanted something I could use to cut spam and I came across this slicer while searching on Amazon. It's a wonderful gadget to have around. It does indeed cut perfectly even slices of spam every time. It's great when you want to make spam musubis or just wanting to have spam alone. Very happy with the product and service.
This is a very convenient tool in the kitchen. Bought it mainly to slice Spam, but have found other uses in the kitchen.
