The slicers are pushed through the egg to cut it, but they don’t go through the egg entirely. You have to pull the egg up in order to slice through the bottom of the egg. Also, it’s difficult to clean properly. Egg gets trapped between the parts and you have to use a toothpick or tip of a knife to get the egg out. A more traditional egg slicer is the way to go.
Works beautifully and super easy to clean. Why didn’t I buy this sooner?
I've only used the parallel slicers before. But the extra options are great, and I've already started using them.
So far I don't prefer this slicer. The egg isn't sliced completely. You have to pull it out. Also you cannot change the direction of the wires so you can't cross cut 2 different styles (slices and wedges) from the same egg.
I bought this product after going through 2-3 strawberry-shaped strawberry slicers whose plastic eventually broke.
Too early to tell if this product will last longer, but its design is promising.
It's more versatile in that it can slice in 3 patterns.
Softer strawberries may stick but are easy to remove when the wires don't cut all the way through.

Excellent quality
Yes, S'not a Mug is cute but not very functional. I separated one egg, put the yolk in a separate cup, and then added two eggs to see what would happen. Besides the first egg's "snot" leaving a little mess on my counter top (I'll place the mug on a plate next time), one nostril got "clogged" with a yolk. I put a spoon inside the mug to hold the yolk back, but the yolk broke, and then I had the same problem with the second yolk.
I can see this being a big hit for those of you that have young children/grandchildren and ask them to separate an egg or two. Just my opinion, but I'd think S'not a Mug would prove too time consuming for any recipe requiring the separating of more than 2 eggs.
