Wires broke after a few weeks
It looked and felt really sturdy. I loved that it was stainless, not plastic. I really only used it for cutting boiled eggs a few times and one of the wires is already broken. Not so happy with this, I've had others that have lasted for years. Too bad.
Disappointed, thin sheet metal with tabs bent for hinges. Wire loosened first use because of flimsy hinges.
It does the job but the wires are very flimsy and you can't slice anything over a large egg.
It broke in 2 weeks....used maybe a handful of times.

Basic slicer. Sturdy enough and works as expected.
Slicer works great. Allows you to slice eggs in two directions so it is easy to dice them as well.
Broke (one of the slicer wires snapped) the first time I used it... horribly cheap construction.
