I ordered this new egg slicer before Christmas, as my family broke my last one. I haven't had time to use it yet, due to the holiday, but am looking forward to putting it to use, especially the timer. It looks well made and the price was acceptable. I've been looking at some different ones, but finally decided on this due to the bonus egg timer, as it's always exciting getting your eggs 'just right'. I appreciate that the seller is very helpful and the product looks well made. I will update my review if there are any further comments when I finally use the slicer.
I really like this egg slicer. It is very much like the Kitchen Aid one I had, but the thing that makes this egg slicer better is the actual slicing portion can be removed so it gets much cleaner in the dish washer. It also came with an egg timer that was a surprise and it shows you how to get perfect boiled eggs each time depending on if you want a soft or hard egg. I would recommend this to anyone.
The older I get, the more arthritic my hands/fingers become. I have vowed to seek out as many kitchen tools and gadgets that help me out. And.....this Egg Slicer fits the bill! I like to add an egg to salads and the slicer makes it so so easy to do this. The egg is perfectly sliced and on my salad in seconds! I highly recommend the egg slicer, and would purchase again from this company - very customer-oriented and easy to work with.
Does what it's designed for. The wires take a little effort to clean, but it's no big deal.
I used the timer, but I boil my eggs for 11 minutes, so it was well passed its limit by the time I observed it. It's like a sort of mood ring. It might be more useful for soft and medium eggs or for people who don't have the timing down.
I ordered and received this product a few weeks ago. When it arrived, one of the four plastic retaining clips was broken. It still worked fine, but I was afraid it would only be a matter of time before it was unusable. It was inexpensive, and I certainly was not going to return it. Then I got an email from the company asking about my experience. I emailed back explaining it arrived broken, but was still functional. I also made it clear that I was not asking them to do anything, just wanted to let them know. The next day I received an email from the company apologizing for the defective product, and providing a code to order another one for 99% off the price. It arrived two days later, and was perfect. Got to love great customer service!!

I love,love,love this little egg slicer and egg timer! The egg slicer comes apart to clean so there are no little pieces of egg stuck in it anywhere.Such a breeze to ckean and the egg timer works great! I had to go to Mevisline.com to see how it worked but am very impressed! My eggs came out perfect and I love egg salad so it is a win-win for me! Thank you Mevisline!
I like this egg slicer. It’s sturdy, easy to use and my favorite thing about it is.... it has little rubber feet which keeps it in place. Easy to wash, as well!
I like that the wire piece can be popped out to clean better then popped back in after washing. The egg timer that came with the slicer was just an awesome bonus since my boyfriend loves making hard boiled all the time and usually needs my help to know when they are done. This was a great buy for sure!
Works great and is larger than I expected. Husband & I love this thing! Haven't tried the egg timer yet but the slicer is worth the price.
