I like how the food goes into a round bowl, very helpful. Only problem, there were no directions or guide lines, so you have to go to youtube to learn how to use it.
very cute and it comes with so many little pieces. i have used it on shaving potatoes ! it is great! and it comes with a basket! it is small! but it is good enough for me to use on grapes and strawberries!
This was my second attempt at finding a new slicer.
The potato cut with the straight slicer was ok; not bad, not great. However, the waffle slicer was a tad too thin.
When it came time to slice the [firm] tomato, it was kind of sloppy. The last slicer I got gave me some clean slices before it gave out near the end, but this one didn't even give me clean slices before I got to the middle of the tomato. I guess I really am just going to have to invest in a more expensive slicer.
It came broken and dirty as if it were previously used.
This is a nice cheap mandolin. I used it for potato chips and julianne carrots. Unfortunately the depth is not adjustable, so the size of items you get is fixed. If I were to buy one again, I would spend $10 more to get an adjustable unit.

it is a cheap piece of plastic I expected hard plastic that is durable. when washing it the handle bent under the weight of the water and if it wasn't such a pain I would return it.
To be honest I'm still learning how to use this slicer which is why I gave it four stars. But I have no complaints. Its easy to clean (I hand wash it), the blades came in nice and sharp. So far I've experimented with the blades using red potatoes, carrots, cucumber, and squash. My Fiance threw the box away before I could find the instruction on it but the device itself is very self explanatory.

Poor quality.
I have just had to return the item. On the third time of using the wavy crinkle cutter has buckled and broken.
Both the graters are too shallow. Grating a carrot took forever and I gave up and reverted to my usual grater.
The mandolin does not work well and it is easy to push it off line. There are very small pieces of raised plastic which are meant to act as rails and keep the pass on line. In fact it still turns very easily and it means the raised pieces of plastic can hit the blade itself very easily - resulting on a small slithers of sharp shaved off plastic entering the food.
Was buying this as a present for my mum, as she always cuts her hands while using normal grater, but actually keeping this myself and will order another one for her. Has a lot of features, such as hand protector and egg separator. It is absolutely essential thing in every household.
