Not what I expected at all. There were three extra pieces enclosed, none of us could figure out what they are for. Not easy to store because it won't "close" to store it. Regret purchasing, but bought two and one already given away!
It worths the money with a free orange peeler. I used egg slicer for years to slice beets for freezing, but the last beets were too firm and broke the slicer. I ordered this slicer and with next batch of beets I used this and was great. I used for tomatoes, potatoes and eggs. It worked perfectly. It's not flimsy like some I've used in the past. It's super easy to clean, and the slice sizes are pretty much perfect for lemons, tomatoes, or hard boiled eggs. I highly recommend and easy to clean.
Does a good job of slicing tomatoes and potatoes. You need to hold up in the middle as it is soft. I guess It would probably work on other vegetables too. It works very good.
Little flimsy. Hard to use. It does work just a little clumsy.

This slicer works great! It slices tomatoes neatly. I sliced red onions for pickling and it made nice thin rings. You can put an apple in it and cut it right in half. Every household should have one.

Didn't expect much but this was really cheaply made and not worth the money. I don't think it could hold a tomato to cut, maybe a ripe strawberry.
