Doesn’t work as well as I expected. It DOES stay on the bowl but the egg yolk, most of the time, falls through the slots that’s meant for the egg whites. I usually use cold eggs, maybe if they were room temperature it would work better, I don’t know and am not sure but worth trying out. See video.
Ok so how often do you need an egg separator? For me, it’s rarely, I’m very space-conscious and I hate clutter. Ths is so small and cute, it cheers me up just looking at it in the utensils drawer, and absolutely indispensable when I need it to do its thing!

We like it, only it won’t fit with all bowl properly.
Bought as cute gift. Love It.
I bought this to make separating eggs easier but that was not e case. The yolk ended seeping through the sides. The lip it has to attach to bowls is not practical. Your better off using your hands!
Some people like separating eggs the traditional way but we are not all masters. I'm fairly poor at cracking eggs and that leaves me with shells with sharp edges that are not ideal to separate eggs with.
This saves me a bunch of time when I'm separating egg yolks for ice cream. I happened to have a medium sized bowl that it clipped to just fine, although they are not hooked 180 degrees even, but slightly angled. That doesn't affect the way the product works.
