These couldn't be more perfect for our needs! I needed something I could hear from my office since I can't hear the oven buzzer, etc. This works beautifully! I also use it to time tasks, etc.
I gave my husband the second one and he uses it for printing products for our business. Before, he had to keep a constant eye on the timers that are on the presses, but, now, he can set this and know exactly when things are "cooked" and he is free to do other things. He has thanked me several times for buying these!
The price is reasonable as well!
