Once again I had a wire snap while slicing eggs, so I looked @ all the ones on Amazon & decided to try this one... So far AMAZING !!! Super sharp super easy, closes flat & locks for easy storage..
We love cherry tomatoes & for making sandwiches this really speeds up my prep time..
TIP !! After you place your egg, tomato, strawberry etc.. in the slicer ( green side down ) flip it over before you slice & it comes all the way out... Unlike most wire slicers... When done using wash with a dish brush & leave standing open to dry..

Biggest piece of junk I’ve ever bought! Won’t self align, slices it’s self more than anything else! Constantly pulling out plastic because it so loose! Don’t waste your money!!!
I bought this specifically to slice eggs. It works. Its probably sturdy enough to slice small fruits and berries as well. However, the blades in this slicer are serrated. The serrations fill with egg and are difficult to clean out. Any time saved on slicing is wasted on clean up.
I use this slicer for slicing strawberries in bulk for my dehydrator. The slicers that use wires did not hold up, failing after only a few pounds sliced, and it takes forever to use a knife. I needed something better, and this is indeed better.
The Good: It slices with authority, chewing through crates of strawberries. No more wondering if my slicer will hold up!
The Bad: The narrow handle allows the blades to slice into the plastic if you are off center. I use both hands - not for power, for control.
The Ugly: The serrated blades tend to collect and hold strawberry seeds, cleaning it requires a brush.
There may be something better for slicing strawberries, but this will do fine for now.
This works very well because of the sharp blades. No flimsy wires like all the rest of them. It was exactly what I was looking for. I've used it on mushrooms as well as eggs and olives. I'm sure it would work well for strawberries too.
Some have complained about cleaning the blades. I use a bottle brush and it works fine to get between the blades. I highly recommend this product.

Personally I dislike this slicer, especially after you get pieces of plastic with your eggs.
Hello there!! Queen of kitchen gadgets here. I have every kitchen gadget I can buy that will make my life easier in the kitchen! I mainly cook with fresh foods so having a slicer that can hold up is a must in my kitchen. With that said....
I love this slicer!!
I have tried a bazillion different kinds, types, brands. I have tried both the square molded plastic and the "professional " grade stainless steel slicers. Nothing is as well built or as fast and easy to use or clean as this one.
For those who are cutting plastic into their food, they are not using this amazing tool correctly. You have to pay attention to how you are using it. You can't just slam the food in it willy nilly and compress the handle. There are guides built into the slicer to show you proper food placement.
I cut through 5 pounds of mushrooms in under 5 minutes! Strawberries for jam making are a breeze.
Trust me. Just try it. You won't be disappointed.
Love this to cut strawberries, peaches, bananas and virtually any fruit, egg or cheese. Very sharp blades - does a much better job than my old Pampered Chef Egg slicer. Only down side is it is hard to clean - especially if you don’t clean it right away. I use a brush to clean between the blades and it does a decent job of cleaning it.
