I got a chance to use the meat slicer and was surprised how well it cut through the DELICIOUS SPAM! :) I was surprised the plastic was a hard, thick plastic. The metal wire and handle cut through the luncheon meat and boiled eggs just fine. The wires are just wires and not sharp like a knife edge so you don't really have to worry about cutting yourself when washing.
Very flimsy. First unit came broken, second broke second time it was used, despite me being very careful with it.
Very poor quality. Wouldn't recommend it. I'll be looking for an alternative option.

I got this for my mom for Christmas - although pricy you get what you pay for and it’s absolutely worth it. Very high quality and she absolutely loves this set.
